Let's demonstrate the experiment outside the classroom.

The 5th school, Environmental Studies, has a chapter named "Experiment with water." Most of the teachers and schools have been using discussion methods, whereas few of the schools have been using demonstration methods in class.  The reason behind having this lesson taught first, even though it is the 7th chapter in the textbook, was because of the monsoon. The environment acts as a learning aid for learners. The flowing rain water from which they can play with boat and question themselves why does it float or even if we put weight, it still floats.  Hence, developing critical thinking and demonstrating various other concepts like floating lemon in salty water, understanding the dissolving and non - dissolving concepts. And more over students enjoy learning.  Hence, a few chapters can be taught using demonstrations and outdoor activities to feel a connect with the environment.

Simulations - Friends of Learners

Learning chemical equations and the reactions has always been boring for many students.  But the same can be either taught by demonstration or by new methods such as using simulations. Thanks to Amrita Online Lab for developing the beautiful simulations that help in understanding the types of reactions - combination, decomposition, displacement & double - displacement. Today's learners are techno-friendly, hence using such a method will grab their attention and boost the urge to learn.  Balancing the chemical equation has always been a nightmare for many, including a few of the teachers too. But PhET makes it simpler to understand the basic meaning of balancing the equation by a play - way method. In the form of games, students have to balance the chemical equation. Initially, by trial and error method and then by understanding the process of balancing it.
